Family: besides Steve and Kaelyn, [and Steve's family], there are parents, a brother and sister-in-law, and three grandparents.

Employment: Consultant for Standard Publishing, Stay-at-home mom

Kelly was born and raised in Lexington, graduating from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in 1995. She attended Cincinnati Christian University two semesters before transfering to Northern Kentucky University in 1999. That same year she started working for Standard Publishing where, among other things, she has edited a teen magazine. Kelly’s name has been attached to two books, in addition to a set of missions journals. In  2009, after eleven years of employment, Kelly resigned her position at Standard Publishing to devote more time to her family. She enjoys writing and reading and his an unbridled passion for University of Kentucky basketball.
